To survive, a state-of-the-art logistics company powered by a supercomputer and AI-equipped humanoid robotic units is forced to expand. It finds a unique way to do so: a strange blend of computer science and Greek philosophy. In this tale, artificial intelligence is not evil and does not seek to eliminate humanity; instead, it corrects human flaws by strictly applying corporate welfare regulations and the ethics of Socrates’ Republic. While humans pass good laws but act predatorily, the machines strive to implement these rules justly in pursuit of environmental balance.
Set entirely in Sicily, the island becomes the birthplace of a new artificial intelligence steeped in Greek philosophy.
