Beschrijving

This sequel to the popular ”Too Far to Whisper,” begins on the very day the first book left off. In 1600s New England, 20-year-old Rosalind Chandler has caused a scandal by jilting the rich and powerful Nathaniel Corwin on the day before their wedding and running off with a ”savage,” Shadow Runner, the man to whom she has given her heart. She realizes she cannot turn back – that she has sacrificed everything to be with Shadow. But as she begins her new life in his village with his people, she begins to have serious misgivings about the choices she has made…and too rapidly, her innocent dreams of ”happily ever after” begin to fade.
