Beschrijving

When Mara Voss and her friends take a wrong turn through rural West Virginia, they find more than an isolated mountain road. They find Calvary’s Throat, a hidden religious compound controlled by the Fellowship, a fanatical order built around suffering, obedience, and an ancient presence buried beneath the earth.

What begins as a fight to survive becomes a nightmare of ritual violence, captivity, faith twisted into cruelty, and a secret history that reaches back generations. Mara escapes the first horror, but escape does not end what happened there. Federal agents, survivors, investigators, and witnesses are pulled into the aftermath as the truth of the Fellowship begins to surface.

The deeper the investigation goes, the worse the story becomes. The Fellowship was not simply a cult. It was protecting, feeding, and worshiping something older than any of them understood. Trials, archives, buried records, old theology, and new disappearances reveal that Calvary’s Throat was only one part of a much larger darkness.

Spanning the first night of terror, the raid on the compound, the trial, the survivors’ trauma, and the long shadow left behind, The Anointed Few is a brutal supernatural horror novel about belief, control, survival, and the terrible cost of witnessing something that should have stayed buried. Even after the compound falls, the evil beneath Calvary’s Throat refuses to stay buried. As survivors struggle to rebuild their lives, Mara realizes some horrors do not end when you escape them-they follow you home.
