Sugar’s Copper Blue is a 1992 music cassette featuring the American alternative rock band’s debut studio album, blending thick punk guitar riffs with slowed tempos and emphasized melodies in a power pop style. Written entirely by guitarist/vocalist Bob Mould and co-produced with Lou Giordano, it captures a shimmery, grungy 90s alt-rock sound rooted in his Hüsker Dü past, delivering noisy pop hooks and thrashy energy across its 44-minute runtime on the Rykodisc label.
